5.5m x .5.5m Glass conservatory with XP Gliding Doors

Описание к видео 5.5m x .5.5m Glass conservatory with XP Gliding Doors

This conservatory in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire has increased the living space in this old-style Georgian property. The rear of the property has been knocked through creating an open plan kitchen which now leads out to the new glass room.
The new conservatory consists of an insulated portal frame which houses the sliding doors and supports the glass roof.
The lean to roof itself is made up of thermally broken aluminium and runs 5.5 metres across and projects out from the property by 5.5 metres. Due to the size of this roof a purlin was installed which has been designed to complement the overall appearance of this conservatory creating a real architectural feature of the required additional support. The roof also boasts a manually operated opening vent, shaped aluminium frames on the returns and commercial quality glazing which is both solar reflective and self-cleaning.
The body of the conservatory is made up of our XP Glide sliding doors. The benefits of which are of course the unobstructed views that our patio doors allow as individual panels can be manufactured much larger than our equivalent folding door panels. The front of conservatory houses a twin track, two pane sliding doors at 3.25m wide and 2.2m high, while the return is made up of our triple track, three panel sliding doors at 5.4m wide and 2.2m high.
Our roofing systems can be designed to suit any property, whether you require a large glass room like this one, or a simple small conservatory we can help find a design that suits you. An aluminium roofing system from Express will not only increase the size of your home, it will increase its value and allow you to enjoy the additional living space for twelve months in the year
