Part of the BYD Yuan series that is named after the Yuan dynasty. The Yuan Plus was released in mainland China in February 2022. For many overseas markets, the vehicle is BYD's first electric passenger car model. E-Platform 3.0 features the world’s first 8-in-1 High Eciency Electric Powertrain (with motor, motor controller, reducer, onboard charger, DC converter, high-voltage distribution box, vehicle controller, and BMS integrated in 1).
