How to Write a Position Paper

Learn how to write a position paper step by step in this video! I'll show you what resources you can use to research, how to write a thesis, and what to include in each paragraph of the essay. A position paper allows you to defend your stance on a specific debate topic, support your opinion using evidence, and propose solutions.

I've also included excerpts from one of my past position papers, for which I received an award. Looking back on it, I realized there are a lot of things I could have improved upon; for example, I provided a lot of evidence but not enough analysis. Hopefully this is a good start if you haven't written a position paper before!
