Inhumans vs. X-Men: Anatomy of a Misguided (and Dumb) Rivalry

This video is a mini-documentary of a rivalry that was created for all the wrong reasons in all the wrong ways. For a time, the rivalry between the Inhumans and the X-Men brought out the worst in so many characters while upsetting huge swaths of fans. It had a shaky foundation to begin with and was developed in some very troubling ways. Ultimately, it was a low-point for both franchises.

But the story of how this rivalry came to be is still a story worth telling. Having followed it from start to finish, I offer both an explanation and some insight. However, there are certain parts of this story for which I cannot hide my bias. When you learn the details, I think you'll understand why.
