Elite Mode, No Bonuses Any% Sub-Hour Speedrun - Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005)

Speedrun Type: Campaign Any%
Timer Used: Non-Stop Timer (includes transitions between battles)
Platform: PC (CD version)

I forgot to set my OBS source to the one that consists of Battlefront and LiveSplit. The LiveSplit is running in the background, but it wasn't being recorded until after the run was over. I added a timer to estimate the time mid-run. Since I never figured out how to see the timer while in-game, I used a stopwatch to help keep track of time. Exact time, splits and other data can be seen on the LiveSplit timer at the end.

Just so you know, there were no cuts in the footage from the time that I pushed Attack on Mygeeto to Quit on Hoth. I know the timer is sketchy, but the truth is explained in the previous paragraph. I haven't taken a thorough look at the requirements for submitting a speedrun to the official Speedrun.com leaderboard as that was not my intention in the first place. I just wanted to have fun and challenge myself in a game that I have loved to play for years. If this is a viable run, great; maybe I'll consider it, but I'm okay just knowing that I reached my goal of sub-hour. It would be interesting, though, to see this type of category added to Speedrun.com. I would love to see how others would do at it. It challenged me!

I've never made this type of video before. In the past I've just done content with my voice and my editing, and that's probably what I'll do in the future. If these types of videos are popular, maybe I'll eventually make something similar. But I do enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that I've created something that at least me and my family find interesting, even if it doesn't have a lot of views. I don't know why I'm saying this; I guess I just like putting my thoughts on paper (or Youtube description, I guess).
