Friday marks the first full day of the Maryland State Fair, which will run for three weekends. There's all of the old stuff you would expect, plus some new things, such as six new rides. In total, there are 44 rides at the fair. The Wave Swinger is new, and it cost $1 million. It was shipped to Maryland from Italy. There are also some new kiddie land rides.
