Welcome to Pimp My Jetty - a grassroots program that is looking to reinstate the shellfish population in the Madura Canals.

OzFish and their army of rec fishos are hanging natural fibre ropes from local jetties, as a way of attracting new shellfish growth. The natural fibre ropes provide the perfect surface for mussels to grow on.

As more Muscles grow, more food and shelter will be available for fish, there are more muscles filtering the water, and ultimately, there are more chances of locals like Jim, catching a fish.
