Why should you balance between momentum and value mutual funds?

A momentum investor looks to buy stocks at a higher price and sell them at an even higher price. Momentum investing can lead to higher returns but this approach also has risks. Passive Momentum Mutual Funds track a momentum index, such as the Nifty200 Momentum 30 Index. Momentum Funds can be risky, as there is no guarantee that the stocks that have been doing well in the past will continue to do so. Both momentum and value investing strategies are inherently cyclical and typically exhibit low correlation with one another.
