In the market there are also modern Tamiya and Zoukei Mura kits, but as I liked Academys way of making the fuselage and Meng did the same I choose Meng one and Tamiya only has early F-4B and I wanted to have long nose version. There are some price difference between Academy and Meng, but as this is only part comparison it is fair.

There are 10 years between these two kits. They seems to be quite alike in bigger things like fuselage etc. But Meng seems to have more thought in alignment things and Academy have some unnessesery part divisions. I pieced up some alikes and differences which seemed interesting to me. Stop the video in desired place to watch parts for longer.
