This one was bitter sweet. Last year I did the most wedding cakes of my professional career. I was over the moon. I set a goal to double that number. To my surprise I haven’t come close. This is my first wedding cake of the season and as of now I don’t have any more booked. Entrepreneurship is funny that way. Peaks and valleys…peaks and valleys. While I am beyond grateful for every order that comes my way no matter what the occasion, this did send me back to the drawing board. Sometimes taking a critical look at yourself from an unbiased point of view is all it takes. Next wedding season I’ll bet I book triple what I did last season. #parlay anyone 👀🫶🏽😂

I still can’t believe that the business I built from scratch gets hired to be a part of something as major as a WEDDING! It still feels surreal after all of these years 🫶🏽
