Armilla

Описание к видео Armilla

"Armilla" is one of the "Thin Cities" in Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, consisting of a labyrinth of pipes and and bathroom appliances inhabited by mysterious women. The 3D set is built by Romy Nayar for the "Invisible Cities Project" overseen by Ux Hax of MetaLES..O.. in Second Life and on display at the Linden Endowment for the Arts starting late February 2012. There will be three other sets by different artists, different Calvino-esque interpretations, different machinimas. I set this to a slightly humorous and repetitious score called "Klockworx" by Kevin MacLeod, in keeping with the humorous and yet ethereal quality of Romy's artwork.

Oh and of course--heck!!-- I left out of the credits the fact that the colorful projection (in the tunnels, etc.) is from my painting called "Banjo-Playing Mermaid." I've had it for years in my own bathroom. :)
