Never coded before? No problem! This video should give you just enough help to get started with your own GameMaker Studio projects. This is a little different from the videos I've been making - I realized I've been working with GameMaker on and off for over 10 years now, and I thought it might be nice to give back to the community. Maybe I can help someone start programming in the same way that I was helped many years ago.

GameMaker is a powerful tool for quickly creating 2D games. It's been around in some shape or form for over 20 years, and I've been using it on and off for at least the past 10.

In this video, I try to convey some of the thought processes that I've internalized over many years of work with GameMaker.
