Thrips is one of the major sucking pest in Cotton Crop. It suck saps and make leaves tight and cup-shaped. It excrete bright secretions which can be observed clearly on back side of leaves. It can be controlled by Chlorphenopyre @ 100 ml per acre

Fipronil plus Imidachloprid @ 60 g per acre
Or
Dimethoate 300 g per acre
Or
Spintoram @ 50 ml per acre
