First we will discuss about types of loan . Generall bank will provides two types of loan based on security.
1- secured loan
2- Unsecured loan
In secured loan bank have security so that loan can be recovery by selling security. Home loan, car loan, gold loan, loan against fixed deposit, mortgage loan are secured loan.
In unsecured loan bank dont have security so bank can not recover loan.
2- now we discuss when bank loan turns to NPA?
If you do not pay 3 month EMI of your loan, your loan turns to NPA. if your loan account turns to NPA , you become bank loan defaulter and now bank will take action against you.
3-Now we will discuss what action bank will take against you?
first of all Bank report your loan account to CIBIL company and after that you will not get loan from any bank in future.
If you have secured loan then bank will sell your security like home, car , property, gold and will recover loan amount.
So i advise you that please pay your loan EMI regular so that your credit history remain good always.
