Silhouette Essentials Roto - 01G Intro to Motion Tracking [Boris FX rotoscoping]

This is the free version of Silhouette Essentials - Roto with Katie Morris, digital VFX artist and trainer. Manual roto often isn't the most time-efficient way to create your shapes. Silhouette has a number of ways to aid this with generating and connecting to motion tracking data. In this session we focus on using the Point Tracker to minimize the amount of manual animation we have to do.

Katie also talks more about the importance of the Object List and how to use layers in more advanced ways. We also work in Stabilized View mode, to easily see any problems we have with the roto'ed shape.
