Bakheng Temple Understanding and Exploring​ Angkor | ប្រាសាទ ភ្នំបាខែង

Phnom Bakheng, also known as Bakheng Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. Built in the late 9th century during King Yasovarman I's reign, this temple mountain is one of the earliest significant temples in the Angkor region.

Bakheng Hill, where the temple is situated, offers a panoramic view of Angkor Wat and the surrounding area. It's a popular spot for tourists, especially for sunset, providing breathtaking views of the golden hues over the ancient temples.
