Here's a video of my visit to the very beautiful and enormous Kapaleeshwarar temple and a delicious South Indian breakfast at a very popular restaurant in Chennai.

I first went to see the delightful lake on the backside of the temple. I was lost in the scenic beauty as I met a Pandit. I enquired about the temple's timing from him, which got converted into a long and amazing conversation.

The temple can close anywhere in between from 12:00 pm until 12:30 pm. It was unexpected that Pandit ji, who belonged to Tamil Nadu, could speak Hindi so fluently. I realised that when he sang a Hindi song, and told me about his huge Hindi song playlsit from the 1970s.

I got an idea of recording him, singing a Hindi song of his choice. He sang an old song, and I really liked his voice. I was amazed. He then told about how he was willing and struggled to learn Hindi. He sang a couple of more songs and we had a really nice conversation.

I didn't want to leave but I had to go as I had to visit the temple and it was getting late. Pandit ji asked me to meet him whenever I visit this area. I was very happy as I met him. It was a very nice start to the day.

Next, I visited the temple. I had to walk a little to reach the temple. On the way, the huge and enormously built temple was visible. The building has so many statues on it, with so many minute details.

I got inside the temple. The temple is huge and magnificent. I felt very peaceful on visiting the temple. Videography is banned inside the temple, of which I was unaware and I was recording. A man came and told me about it. He also deleted the video I had recorded and I was not bothered by that at all as I love to respect the rules.

I was hungry as I had not eaten my breakfast yet. I had planned to eat a South Indian breakfast, so I looked at the restaurants around and found one with a very nice rating. It was the Sangeetha veg restaurant.

I ordered Idli, ghee-roast Dosa, and a Vada. I also wanted to order Appam, but it wasn't available. They served the Idli first, with Sambar and three chutney, which were coconut, pudina and kara. Then they served Vada and at last I got my Pyramid shaped Dosa. I finished my Idli first which was yummy and quite soft. Then I started eating Dosa. The Dosa was much more heavier and bigger than I expected. It had multiple layers, almost four in number.

I had eaten almost half of my Dosa and I started feeling stuffed already. But then I tok a bite of Vada and got it packed as I could eat it later. I finished my Dosa somehow. I also wanted to drink filter coffee, but my stomach was full to the brim, so I decided to drink it later, somewhere else.

The bill of everything I had was just 194 rupees. I felt really happy to have such an excellent and delectable breakfast at such a cheap price. I then realised the reason behind this restaurant having such a high rating. It is 101 per cent recommended.

I then left with an amazing and wholesome meal. I took a walk for a while and later had a filter coffee from Mylapore filter coffee. It was an astonishing day.
