Today was strange. All this time I've been expecting to feel right at home while painting urban landscapes and have anxiously waited for my love for grayness to come out, just so I can finally grab the building by the plinth (that... didn't sound right...). And when I feel most comfortable what happens??? My respect and admiration for Bill Wray and Stuart Shils just decides to show up from nowhere, completely UNINVITED!!! Let's be real though, Bill's influence has been peeking its head throughout the week if I have tbh. Painting is mysterious. Just when I thought I could be blissfully dreary and drab, color shows up to prompt me to paint some nice, sharp, saturated shapes. Damn you Painting!!!
