This sector consists of companies from Finance (stock market companies included), Rating agencies and financing. Around 160 listed companies but none in Nifty-50.

Crisil is owned by S&P Global Inc. Crisil is a very good company for long term investment and recommended wealth creator. Since 2001 Company has grown tremendously as Rev and Net profit has grown from 50 cr & 10 to today 1800 cr and 300 cr respectively, growth of around 20% CAGR. Today’s profit is 7X times more than yesterday’s revenue. Investment of 1 lakh is already 70X & 5X received in dividends. They distribute 50% of profits in dividends, with dividends every quarter. This is a Debt-free and High margin company and one of the best in terms of R-O-E of 50 could be a wealth creator. Since the last 10 years growth has been muted as profit has grown by just 6% CAGR and so Crisil is also in correction mode. It's an MNC & hence H1 results have been announced. Current year revenue has grown by 11% (included newly acquired Greenwich) net profit has grown by 8% respectively, so overall we can say as expected. All those holding for a long time can again add. New Buying again can be done during the correction in the whole range of 1600-1200 (Upgraded initially from 1250 buying). Bought during this range should be able to see a target of 2200 next year itself and candidate for a multi-year rally. Lic bought 9500 shares during Nov 2017 at 1800. A share that has helped Rakesh Jhunjhunwala create good wealth as he still holds around 39.63 Lakh shares worth around 600 cr. Our previous buying near 1300 or even new buying in the range of 1600-1200 can be more fruitful than LIC. 67% strong Promoter Holding, 6% FPI, 12% MF & Insurance companies along with 5% Rakeshbhai Holding.
