Construction of the East Shield | Bohdan Nahaylo

The defensive fortifications along the border with Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad known as the East Shield are under construction. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk visited what he called “the first element of Polish investment in peace”, saying that “everything Poland is doing there is meant to deter and discourage any potential aggressor”.
