South Dakota had its primary. President George Bush was the only Republican on the ballot there. Pat Buchanan says Bush's people kept him off the ballot. Yet a total 31% of the republican voters cast their ballots for “Uncommitted” in the South Dakota primary. Bush was in Texas saying he won an overwhelming victory in South Dakota. Buchanan is saying that Bush is as “weak as a kitten.”

Among the Democrats, Nebraska Senator Bob Kerry looking for an opening, says that Clinton’s Vietnam War record and his draft record is an issue.
