The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassador Program recently announced their 2017-2018 Invention Ambassador Class – leaders in their fields who are making an impact on global issues.

Members of this year’s class are driving advances in materials science, global health, medical devices, product strategy and innovation, environmental science, and entrepreneurship.

On Thursday, July 20th at AAAS, the Ambassadors shared their stories on the challenges they face, and the ways in which their experiences drive their work and inventions at the 4th Annual "Celebrate Invention" event.
