The Golden Age of DISNEY ANIMATION (Bassoon Quintet)

This arrangement comes off the back of attending the 2024 IDRS conference in Flagstaff, AZ - where the contrabassoon ensemble Contraband performed 'Never Smile at a Crocodile' for 30 contras! (Thanks, Kevin Fuller!) It got me thinking about other classic Disney music that might work for bassoons, so I started work on what turned out to be quite a lengthy arrangement!

I find that the music from the films dated 1937-1953 (what I consider the Golden Age, though sources will vary) contains particularly wonderful and memorable melodies, so I've arranged music from SNOW WHITE, CINDERELLA, PETER PAN, ALICE IN WONDERLAND and PINOCCHIO.

(Sleeping Beauty has been intentionally left out because I wanted to do original music for the films, excluding the Tchaikovsky Waltz. Dumbo and Bambi have been excluded as well for conciseness!)
