Ramlila was being staged in Haridwar District Jail, during which a game took place there. Two prisoners escaped from the jail. According to the news, when Ramlila was going on in the jail, both the prisoners escaped by jumping over the jail wall. One escaped prisoner, Praveen, is a member of the Valmiki gang and was serving a life sentence in a murder case.

हरिद्वार जिला जेल में रामलीला का मंचन हो रहा था, उसी दौरान वहां खेल हो गया। जेल से दो कैदी फरार हो गए। खबर के मुताबिक जिस समय जेल में रामलीला चल रही थी, उसी दौरान जेल की दीवार फांदकर फरार हुए दोनों कैदी। फरार हुआ एक कैदी प्रवीण वाल्मीकि गैंग का सदस्य है और हत्या के मामले में आजीवन सजा काट रहा था.
