To confirm the long-term stability and accuracy, the OPSIS systems have been tested by the German test house TÜV Rheinland.
Their assignment was to perform a long-term test of the OPSIS systems.

During the entire long-term test, the OPSIS system was completely stable.
The system was long-term tested for these gaseous compounds.
There was no drift in the measured parameters. The test results show that it is sufficient to calibrate the OPSIS system only once a year.

The certificates and the test reports show that it is enough to calibrate the OPSIS system only once a year.
In addition to annual calibrations, there is an option to perform supplementary QAL3 checks with sealed cells.
TÜV Rheinland made the field test in Germany at the AVEA power plant in Leverkusen. This plant can produce more than 100 MW heat and electricity.
It has three boilers and the OPSIS systems are installed at six measurement points in the plant.
The certification and the test results have now made it possible to extend the recommended calibration intervals.

OPSIS also has a mobile calibration laboratory that can perform calibrations at the users’ sites. The monitoring equipment then doesn’t have to be demounted and moved. The calibration is faster and easier in this way.

To monitor accurately, you have to calibrate. This is easy using OPSIS systems. They need to be calibrated only once a year, which is a unique feature.
