And the tubing rides are famous in the region - huge fun for entire families! For the truly adventurous, check out the single-track Nordic snowshoe trails hidden deep in the mountains.

Wolfeboro’s Rockwellian charm shines even brighter in winter. The Abenaki Ski Area has seven diverse trails, and the Skating Arena opens in October if you prefer ice over snow. Dining options are terrific and distinctive; at Wolfe’s Tavern, established in 1812, you can taste over a hundred types of beer.

In the White Mountains, the vast, unspoiled territory offers unlimited opportunities to explore and get away.
Get ready to cover a lot of ground with a little more horsepower – this is an amazing place for snowmobiling and trailblazing.
