Welcome to Episode 3 of The Lost Fun Ships of Carnival Cruise Line Series! In this episode, we focus on the LEGO build of Project Pinnacle. If you have not, I would heavily suggest watching Episode 1 of this series in order to learn about the history and context behind this canceled vessel.

This project is arguably one of the most well known canceled passenger ships projects known to exist, largely because of how close it came to becoming a reality.

The build is largely based off of the computer animation that was created by the intended shipbuilder, Fincantieri, as well as deck plans showing decks 4 and 5. However, there were additions and changes made in the build that come purely from me. Most of these features are picking one version from the multiple versions of this project which were created as it evolved over the years. For example, the People Mover system had at least two versions, a over-rail version, which is the one commonly seen, as well as a under-rail version, which is seen in sketches made in early 2005. I chose to go with the over-rail version.
