Another brilliant night of Aboriginal story telling as we all enjoyed the October’s FISH Films@The Backlot.

The night started with socialising while enjoying Aboriginal infused cuisine and also being able to check out and purchase some of the FISH products from our many Aboriginal Microenterprises.

After a great catch up and yarn we all entered The Backlot Perth to meet Director Nathan Mewett who introduced his short film Jadai The Broome Brawler with an opportunity to ask questions in the Q&A session.

We all then sat back, relaxed with our popcorn and watched the short film Jadai The Broome Brawler followed by the award winning feature film Samson & Delilah.

Don’t miss out on next month’s instalment of FISH Films@The Backlot with the comedic short film Barry followed by the feature Internationally acclaimed and award winning ‘In my Blood It Runs’ which was featured at the United Nations. The film is an observatory feature documentary following 10yr old Arrente Aboriginal boy Dujuan as he grows up in Alice Springs. Dujuan is a child healer, a good hunter and speaks three languages.

Tickets for the FISH Films@The Backlot will be released by 21st of October on Eventbrite so don’t miss out on this great night out as limited tickets will be available.
