FFVIII Ultimate No Magic Challenge

I remerber the rules :
1) No Magic Ever (no magic in my possession)
2) No Limit Breaks (Rinoa’s Angelo Rush is allowed)
3) No Leveling (except for Seifer and Edea, they can level up for 10 levels maximum)
4) No Summoning GFs (“GF” command is banned in battles)
5) No Chocobo World/ Card Mod/ Triple Triad game
6) No Shops/ Bookstores/ Armories/ Petshops
6 bis) Fight with initial weapons
7) No Hotels/ Squall’s bedroom/ Esthar’s healing spot
8) No Invincibility Items during battles
9) No Ability Items used on a Gardian Force to learn a new ability
10) No Stat Power Up Items/ No Devour
11) All Bosses have to be defeated (except Omega Weapon)

Part 5: Diablos
Here begins trouble. Diablos has a high defense and a lot of HPs, around 8000. The problem in this fight is his Gravija attacks and his physical attacks. Gravija remove 75% of my party's current HPs. His physical attacks deal around 160 HPs. I can cure with potions but it's a waste of turns since it cures only 200 HPs on one character. Then my party's strength is very weak!! I need to cause as mush damage as I can in a minimum amount of turns.

My strategy: With Str +20% and 40%, Squall deals a little more damage than the other caracters. However, with critical attacks, Zell and Quistis are stronger. But that's not good enough! So I tried to cast Mad Rush at the very beginning of the fight and see if I can defeat Diablos tha way. As a matter of fact, the battle is way to much luck reliant to be a solid strategy.
After several tries I decided to way a little and to beat Diablos later in the game. Unfortunately I was stuck in Sacred and Minotaur's battle. So I changed my party, I tried to fight with Laguna, Kiros and Ward. Surprisingly with Str +20% and 40%, Ward has 38 points on Str, that's the best Str I was able to get! So I tried again with Mad Rush. At the end, the battle became much less luck reliant, especially with some critical hits. After a few tries, I defeated Diablos without curative Items!
