ICTACT is conducting its 4th edition of the ICTACT Student Innovator Award that encourages, recognizes and rewards the students of Engineering, Arts & Science, and Management streams, for their ideas and Innovation in science, Technology and management. This initiative is a platform for all the students across the country, to showcase their innovation and inventions. This scheme endeavors to identify two innovators in each category, identified by the expert panel shall be awarded in ICTACT Bridge - The largest Industry-Institute Interaction event of India.
Through this unique initiative, ICTACT has been creating an impact among the student community who come up with unique ideas and solutions to solve a social problem, a business problem. Which benefits the society at large?
What is Innovation?
"Innovation is defined as creativity with purpose (Innovative Intelligence, Weiss and LeGrand, 2011)". To think innovatively is to be open and curious, to embrace new ideas, to apply insight, to persist because you know there is a better idea out there and you just need to figure it out. It is to think with flexibility and novelty every day.
