The semiconductor industry has long led the way in Smart Manufacturing, with modern fabs gathering constant streams of data from hundreds of detectors, enabling real-time optimization of manufacturing processes to mitigate abnormalities, enhancing yield and productivity by reducing cost and cycle time. Multiple new activities are underway in the SEMI Standards Program that will play a key role in the continued digital transformation of our industry.
