Hi! Welcome to my channel. All songs here are a collaboration between my subconscious, my conscious, and two types of AI. In short, they are dream songs. I've kept dream journals since 2002. I use ChatGPT to select the dreams and create genre prompts. I edit the lyrics and genres myself to get things right and I use Suno to make the songs. I've created about 20-30 songs per year of dream journaling. I'll slowly be adding them here. I hope you enjoy!

where the steak’s rare, and so is the poetry.

I sat down in a booth of dreams,
Ordered steak and silent streams.
A list of books with sauce on the side,
But Basho’s name was somehow denied.

[Spoken interlude – shifting tempo]

Excuse me—
I asked for Narrow Road to the Interior.
They brought me Winnie the Pooh
And a worn-out Dan Brown.
This isn’t what I ordered.

[Verse 2 – dissonant piano enters]

Down the stairs, past napkins and sighs,
Through a basement where the silence lies.
Sticky notes on Basho's prose,
Someone studied—someone knows.

[Bridge – vocal layering with improvisational sax]

Books borrowed from a hidden shelf,
But borrowing’s pressure, I want it myself.
Don’t wanna owe, don’t wanna return,
I just want haiku and meat that burns.

[Spoken word – over discordant jazz breakdown]

Manager’s swamped. Tissues tower.
She wipes tables like cleaning a shrine.
I hold the book like it’s something holy.
Pages folded, sticky-noted, divine.

[Chorus – melodic, abstract harmony]

Basho in the steakhouse, whispering through beef,
Haiku on a paper napkin, time is always brief.
Craving ancient pathways in a fluorescent light,
Outback dreams and Zen insight.

[Outro – slow fade, whisper vocals]

You can’t misplace the poet’s voice,
Even if the steak is dry.
In the land of onions and Aussie fries,
A frog still jumps... into the pie.
