Richard Higgins is a Senior Fellow at Unconstrained Analytics. He is an expert on the nexus between theological doctrines and information age unconventional warfare and has spent 20 years combating terrorism. Higgins has advised the White House, Congress, and Foreign Governments on strategy, technology, and terrorism related matters. He is a 2011 Lincoln Fellow from the Claremont Institute and a US Army Veteran.

Stephen Coughlin is an attorney, decorated intelligence officer and noted specialist on Islamic law, ideology and associated issues as they relate to terrorism and subversion. In 2001, Coughlin was assigned to the Directorate for Intelligence, Joint Chiefs of Staff. In 2006, Coughlin was lead consultant to Joint Staff J2 in counterterror threat. In 2007, Coughlin was awarded a Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College/Defense Intelligence Agency. Stephen Coughlin is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy and a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute. His book Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad was released in 2015.

We all know of Karl Marx's cry "Workers of the World, Unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!" But the fact is, his exhortation was essentially ignored by those workers who were, frankly, pretty OK with the unprecedented prosperity and opportunity that came with free market capitalism.

So Marxists turned to something new to bring about the revolution they so desperately wanted.

Thus came about "The Long March Through the Institutions," an expression coined by Rudi Dutschke to encapsulate the strategy described by Antonio Gramsci: take over every one of our government and civic institutions, and wreck it from within. Instead of seeking to topple governments through economic means, turn to the cultural.

And that's exactly what's happened.

Those institutions and pillars of Western Civilization that contribute to its unprecedented successes have been and continue to be under attack.
