Motivations:
• Conservation of specific Human protein isoforms of a drug target in an animal model is an important analysis in Pharmaceutical pre-clinical research.
• Provides an insightful approach for deciding the most suitable animal model for predicting target safety and efficacy in Human.
• CANNOT be carried out using one single Bioinformatics resource.
• CAN BE carried out entirely using "copy and paste" techniques using publicly available Bioinformatics resources.

Objective:
• Find conserved isoforms of Human IL6RA in Crab-eating Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) and Marmoset (Callithrix jacchus)
• Recommend from isoform conservation whether Crab-eating macaque or Marmoset is the more suitable primate model for Human IL6RA
