Police in Pursuit put on a fundraising race to raise money for the Rettland Foundation, which benefits families dealing with the difficulties of Rett Syndrome. In one race alone, we raised upwards of $7,000 for the charity, which provides financial support while families travel to participate in medical trials to try and find a cure for the syndrome.

Donations were raised by an all female group of racers, who were driving their counterpart's race cars. In a 12 lap race at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, CA, the racers had their very first chance to race a car on a racetrack. Not only had they never raced before, most of them had never even been in a police car before. Instead of watching as their Police Officers raced around having fun, they got to participate themselves and see what it's like.
