WEEK 2 PREVIEW | Come Follow Me 2026 (Old Testament) | Moses 1; Abraham 3
Jan 5–11 — “This Is My Work and My Glory”

This Sunday preview sets up what we’ll be reading and discussing all next week in Moses 1 and Abraham 3—two of the most identity-shaping chapters in the Restoration. We’ll see the pattern God establishes with Moses (who you are, what God is like, and why you’re here), and we’ll also see the pattern Satan uses to counterfeit it. Then we’ll shift to Abraham’s vision of the premortal life: intelligences, purpose, divine potential, and a God who knows His children individually—across “worlds without number.”

What to watch for this week:

Identity: God anchors Moses as His son; Satan tries to confuse that same point.

Resistance: How Moses stands his ground and rejects counterfeit power.

Purpose: “Work and glory” as God’s aim for His children.

Premortal life: Abraham’s vision of our life “before the world was.”
