The construction of Xiong’an New Area has entered its eighth year. As this “millennium plan” city meets the digital economy era, here are three new ways to explore Xiong’an today:

① Skyward Xiong’an:
Above the blue skies and white clouds lies a trillion-yuan-valued aerospace information network. Xiong’an is home to China’s first state-backed innovation alliance for integrated aerospace information and satellite networking, forming a powerful “chain” of satellite technologies.

② Ground-level Xiong’an:
In the underground cable tunnels of Xiong’an, robotic dogs patrol 24/7, greatly enhancing safety and efficiency. The city now hosts the Xiong’an branch of the National Technology Innovation Center for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It has incubated 42 innovation hubs and maker spaces, and over 170 academicians have visited. Numerous top-tier talent-led projects are being launched here.

③ Cloud-based Xiong’an:
Digital twins are being built in the cloud, enabling synchronized development of the digital and physical city. Every building in the real city has a corresponding digital twin model online.

Xiong’an is not only a new engine driving coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region—it’s also China’s model of a future city, now being showcased to the world.
