A man died under suspicious circumstances in the city's Mallapur area. During the investigation, it was revealed that his wife had killed him along with her lover. According to sources, 35-year-old Narayan Behra, a plumber by profession, hailing from the state of Odisha. He had been living with his wife Bandhita Behra, 27, and her 6-year-old daughter in Shanti Nagar, Mallapur, for the past one year. During this time, the woman had an illicit relationship with 25-year-old Vidya Sagar, a native of Bihar. Narayan often drank alcohol. On the eve of the New Year, he came home at around 8 pm after drinking alcohol, after which a fight broke out between the husband and wife and the angry wife along with her lover hit her husband on the head with an iron rod, due to which he fell unconscious and died after some time. As soon as the news of the death of plumber Narayan was received, the neighbors reached his house on Friday morning and informed the police control room. When the Nacharam police investigated, the victim's wife confessed to the crime. The police have registered a case in this matter and taken the wife and her lover into custody.
