The Metro Conference's newest member, the Windermere Wolverines, did not disappoint in their inaugural season and they look to keep the momentum going against one of Central Florida's top private school programs, the CFCA Eagles, in the penultimate game of the Metro vs. Florida Challenge!

The Wolverines finished 16-10 in their inaugural season. They return all five starters from last year’s team and add Dante Love, who came over from Dr. Phillips. Windermere is led by 6'8" Dakota Rivers (an FGCU signee) who averaged 17 PPG and 13.5 RPG last season. Other major contributors will be seniors: Josh Colon, Carter Zavada, and Dante Love. Junior Eric Canavan and Sophomore Trey Moss also played major minutes last year.

Last Season: 27-4 (6-0) • 2018 Reg. Champion • Through December: 4-6 (1-0) • MVFC Record: 1-1

The 2018-19 CFCA Eagles return this season after finishing 27-4 and making a run to the 2A state finals in Lakeland the previous year. With an experienced group of seniors that have seen the program capture three straight district championships and back to back regional final appearances, they are focused on one goal collectively. Finish their careers with an opportunity to compete for a state championship.
