Midsummer Scream returns July 29-31 2022

We had the privilege of covering Midsummers Scream Awaken the Spirits 2021 and we have lots of news to cover!

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride is back for halloween 2021, and it's bigger and better than ever! Midnight Falls is returning to Griffith Park in Los Angeles, and this time it's expanding. Midnight Mortuary, Trick or Treat, and the Hayride are returning with more scares, more performers, and new additions. Dead End Diner replaces Roadkill Ranch and will take us through a spooky diner, and into the back alleys of Midnight Falls.

Six Flags Magic Mountain also presented plans for Fright Fest 2021, revealing their full line up of mazes, scare zones, and shows! The current lineup of mazes returns, including Vault 666: Unlocked and Willoughby's Resurrected. New shows include a mentalist show, and Grave Games, a show that includes fire performers and archery! The Six Flags Sliders are also returning with an all new show! Finally, a new scare zone was revealed titled The Deadzone, a neon-colored maze filled with cyberpunk zombies!

Finally, Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood Creative Director John Murdy took us behind the scenes of The Bride of Frankenstein Lives!, the all new Universal Monsters maze located in the Parisian Courtyard at Universal Studios Hollywood. With a score by Slash and artwork by Lucas Culshaw, this maze will take us on an amazing 5-chapter journey narrated by the Bride and featuring Draculas Brides. The maze will end in an all-new scare zone titled Silver Scream Queenz, inspired by horror trailers of the 1930's.
