Caves Discovered Near Gordon River Tasmania

Caves Discovered near Gordon River, claimed advocate newspaper article on 24th of august 1933.

This wasn’t the first time these caves had been bought to light, (so to speak) as another article had also been published by the mercury in January that year. Emphasising the huge potential of the discovery.

Its been of some interest to me to attempt to find this cave, so taking advantage of a rare good winters window Erin and I set off to Strahan to meet up with Ivonne and captain Crosie who were waiting on board the majestic Kelly Basin ready to join in on the adventure.
