"Child in the Cradle of Gold" tells the Saga of the Tomburg, a medieval castle in western Germany near Bonn/Cologne:

Once there lived a count with his wife on the Tomburg and they wished to have a baby, but for years the countess didn't get pregnant. But then it happened and they got a boychild. The count was so very happy that he built a heavy cradle of pure gold for his son.
Tragically the child had to die!
For weeks and weeks the countess cried, and one night the count could not stand the grief of his wife any longer, so he threw the cradle down the well.
For centuries many treasurehunters tried to get the cradle out of the well, but noone ever could reach it, because the count had cursed it.
