How to make no torch no bake no oven creme brulee.
Great thing is that you can pipe this into whatever you'd like...

Recipe:
1c heavy cream
2tbs sugar
5 egg yolks
vanilla extract
big pinch of salt

Stir everything together in a heatproof bowl and cook over a double boiler..
between 165-175 is where it really thickens, a thermometer is really helpful here.
Let it cool before putting it into a piping bag (i used a ziploc bag and cut off the tip)
Put it in the cooler until fully set, then pipe into your favorite bowl.

For the caramel, melt 1tbs per bowl used. (i recommend 4 really tiny or 2 medium sized.
water is not necessary but i like to help along the process.
pull the caramel before the color you want, and the residual heat will continue to cook it slowly and safely.
