Stop Memo Issued To PV Anwar's Water Theme Park | Mathrubhumi News

Kozhikode: The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority(KSDMA) has issued a stop memo to Nilambur MLA PV Anwar’s controversial water theme park operating at Kakkadampoyil in Kozhikode, The stop memo has been issued in the wake of a landslip occurring inside the park. KSDMA also directed the park to stop functioning till a further notice is issued. The village officer will hand over the stop memo soon. The landslide occurred in the park on Thursday night. Mathrubhumi News had earlier reported that there are chances of a landslip in the area as the park was constructed after razing down two hills. Mathrubhumi News had also reported that the Geology department had not given permission to raze down the hills.
