Steps:

If there is a file on your phone that you use frequently, creating a file shortcut to your homescreen is a great time saving option.

The first thing to do is open up the files app and locate the file that you want to create a shortcut for.

Hold down on the file to select it.

Then tap on the three vertical dots more button in the bottom right corner.

Choose ‘add to homescreen’ from the options.

You can now hold down on the file icon and then drag it to wherever you would like to place it on the homescreen.

You can now tap on this shortcut whenever you would like to open your file.
