Alaqua Cox, star of the upcoming television series "Echo," discusses deaf and Indigenous representation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She told Yahoo Entertainment's Kevin Polowy at the 2022 D23 Expo that she's excited about the changing face of superheroes, "Watching things on the screen, it was always a white guy who played the superhero. So we need more people of color to be in the MCU. And it’s just amazing that it’s changing. And I can’t wait for the future to be more inclusive, because I believe the kids deserve to see that inclusivity.”

Cox also said she was excited to join Lauren Ridloff (Makkari in "Eternals") as the second deaf actress in the MCU. Full story: https://yhoo.it/3DwYoYX
