Jesus Makes Himself Known to Us in the Breaking of the Bread

In this episode, I offer a reflection on the Walk to Emmaus story found in the 24th chapter of the Gospel of Luke. In this passage, Jesus reveals himself to the two disciples in Word and Sacrament. Jesus opens and interprets the Scriptures which prepares the hearts of these disciples to encounter Him in the Eucharist, “the breaking of the bread.”
