In my opinion, the take this Cochrane MRT route in the following conditions:
1] Dining at the outdoor restaurants at V Boulevard located outside the mall since it would far shorter than walking from Maluri LRT or MRT Station.
2] Heavy Rain - since the path is better covered compared to the Maluri path

From Gate B of Cochrane MRT Station, you will find a 198m covered link bridge built by the same developer of Sunway Velocity Shopping Mall, Sunway Property.
