Shaving Cream Prints

Shaving Cream + Food Coloring + Paper = Shaving Cream Prints! This is one of my favorite projects because of its simplicity and it can be made with supplies you might have around your house.

All you need is
food coloring (liquid works best)
shaving cream
a *skewer or *toothpick (use caution if doing this project with children)
paper (printer paper works great)
plastic stencils (I made mine out of transparency paper)

You can also use gloves if you want to keep your hands clean, and I would wear an apron to protect your clothing. We did this project outside but it can be done inside with an open window, the shaving cream smell can get intense inside. Also I covered my table with a plastic table cloth, you can also use plastic poster board, or cookie sheets as a surface to make your prints on. Enjoy!
