RAMA NAVAMI:
Rama Navami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ram, the seventh avatar of the deity Vishnu.

An interesting procession and celebration of Ram Navami was taken out by various 'AKHADA' Committees of Rourkela on Friday evening 31st March 2023.

The Ram Navami procession passed off peacefully in Rourkela which started from Bisra Chowk at around 2pm 31st March 2023. Thirteen Akhada committees participated in the procession with attractive Jhankis on various themes. The tall statues of Sri Hanumanji attracted every bodies attention. Usual acrobatic fights with lathis , martial art, music by danka parties and attractive lighting were the highlights of the procession.
